Cecilia is a registered architect with 4 years of experience as Project Designer including all phases of the design process from planning and conceptual design to construction documentation. Her experience in schools, hospitals, hotels and offices on her role as project designer and project manager where she provides continuity through each phase and supports the project management throughout each phase of the design process.As Project Designer, she strives to introduce innovative solutions to project problems with high respect to project budget, timing, and building regulations. As an architect, I believe on ‘’excitement and challenges to people’s lives. We want them to be able to embrace the unexpected.She has worked closely with clients and consultants on large Hotels and is actively involved in the design process.With her international and multi-lingual background, Cecilia is willing to relocate internationally.Before moving to Shanghai to work for a real state company in China, Cecilia worked at REVA SRL in La Paz, Bolivia, as a project manager of projects such as hospitals, schools and in Chongqing, China doing interior design projects and urban design. Actively involved in urban design research and workshops about public life taking a culturally analytic approach to the physical environment and specializes in urban spaces in suburban contexts. She believes that unlike in the modern days where lack of well-functioning public spaces in the city has led to a deteriorating public life, and to some extent have found to be a key player for triggering and fostering physical isolation and segregation in a city, as well as for posing challenges to people’s everyday life and loss of their identity.Currently based out of Shanghai – China, Cecilia continues to offer consulting services in schools, commercial and health architecture to firms in Bolivia while designing and developing architecture and urban design projects in Shanghai.
