GREEN FACADES
The site is located in the south of the cambpus B of chongqing
University- China. in the east of the Architecture Faculty Building, adjacent to the traffic circle in campus B.
Design Concept:
''Te-Tresses'' shapes of tetris, is a symbol of the tree and shows growth. In the design, each floor is rotating to a different direction: the overall building shaped like a tree with the basis shape of tetris
Design Intent:
Using curtain walls, creating as much view to the exterior as possible, with the idea of "bring the nature, the tree into the interior.
When it comes to utopian vocabulary, the word “green” features heavily. Nowhere has this been more pronounced than in discussions relating to the benefits of ecologically sustainable building design, and biologically “alive” building structures like green walls.
But these living walls or green facades are now commercially viable prospects.
